RYA Instructor Development
All instructors receive feedback on their course delivery, briefings, session structure and debriefings throughout the year.
The Senior Instructor (SI) for each course makes observations using the attached form and these are discussed with each instructor following completion of the course.
At the end of the year the Training Principal and Chief Instructor - Dinghy review each instructor's performance individually to define a training and development plan for the next 12 months.
