Improving and Maintaining our lovely Club

As a direct result of listening to members feedback, our SCSC Executive Committee requested the outstanding goodwill of some members to undertake focused maintenance and improvement work at our Club over early-August.
This includes:
Re-grading the beach to make it easier to haul dinghies from the water and into the dinghy park. Pulling at an angle also helps a lot, as you'll see:
Repairing and adding to the secure posts that heavier dinghies use when they winch out the boats from the water.
Repairing the windsurfer beach to make the gravel smooth and level across the breadth of the beach.
Improving the life buoy posts through increasing the height: making them easier to see and also lifting the equipment away from the surrounding vegetation.

More to come .......
