Annual Fees 2025 Season

This section details the membership products available for the 2025 Season

The 2024 season runs from 1st January 2025 to 31st December 2025.

As a new member please see the New Member Discounts which apply if you join part way through our season.

Take advantage of Winter Membership at SCSC if your club has closed for this period. We sail on Sunday mornings throughout the year.

Family Membership

Family - includes active membership for adult partner & junior membership for children under 18, all living at the same address

Senior Family - as Family membership above, but where both adults were 65 years of age or over on 1 January 2025

Cadet Parents Associate - includes Associate Membership for children under 18 as members of the Cadet fleet

Duty Buy-outs

Definitions:

Active Membership: this is defined as a membership where the member takes part in on water activities and does club duties.

Associate Membership: this is defined as a membership where a member can attend site and take advantage of the on-shore facilities. This includes bringing young families and taking advantage of the secure garden area in front of the clubhouse whilst watching family and friends on the water. Associate members can only take part in on-the-water activities if under 18 and part of another membership.

Duties: As part of membership requirement all active memberships, including adult, youth and student members, with the exception of those with children in the Cadet Fleet are expected to conduct 4 (one for Winter Membership) half day duties each per season. Members with youngster in Cadet Fleet are required to conduct 6 duties to support the Cadet activities. These are booked by the member through the duties booking system for a time to suit them. An alternative is available to buy out of the duty requirement. Associate members are not expected to conduct duties.

Berths: these are available for dinghies, trailers and windsurfers depending on availability. They are allocated by the Boat Park Manager.

Insurance: All watercraft and trailers on site must be insured appropriate to its use with a minimum third party liability of £2,000,000.
