Organisational notes for this event are:
Preparation
- Blair drafts and Sam finesses the flyer/ handout to be done sooner rather than later. Blair to print hard copies. Flyer to reflect water activities are available so bring a towel etc
- Blair posts the event to the SCSC newsletter and SCSC social media channels to recruit our members.
- Sam posts the event to local newsletter/ social media channels nearer the time.
- William provides a summary of club membership fees so we are all armed with key data visitors may ask.
- Mac makes duty slots available on the calendar for this task so, tho' these are not club duties, we get the alert/ reminders that this is happening and can track where we have volunteering gaps, if any.

Collect bouyancy Aids from equipment container and locate near Race Hut. Ensure both are familiar with fitting & sizing. Sign visitors in as temporary members for duration of taster session. We need to sign people in so that they are then temporary members for insurance purposes. It is also good to get their contact details to follow up after the event.Notify them this is not formal training by any means. Allocate visitors to dinghies/ SUP, maintain lists and H&S briefing. Issue & collect buoyancy aids. |

Key points are:
- Staff arrive at 0900 to prepare kit (inflate SUPs, layout buoyancy aids, rig and launch dinghies)
- Park, close together at the far end of the car park.
- Hi-Vis vests to be worn & radios to all helms.
- Flow of visitors is:
- Arrive
- Guided parking, onto
- Temporary membership sign-in, queue for dinghy/ SUP, provision of buoyancy aid, onto
- Into RIB for delivery to dinghy or onto SUP for safari, onto
- Transfer into RIB back to shore or SUP returns to beach, onto
- Retrieve buoyancy aid, onto
- offer talk about Membership and take details, onto
- Depart site
