Cadet Winter Training West Region

Two days of national cadet class coaching held on the 4th and 25th of November. Our main coaches are Amy Seabright on the 4th and Pete Conway on the 25th. The cost is £25 per boat per day bookable separately.

Only helms' parents need to book and pay for the event. You will be asked to provide crew details during the booking process.

Sailors must have third party insurance as per class events, carry whistles, and wear buoyancy aids.

Please email cadetsquadroncaptain@scsailing.org.uk with any medical conditions or dietary needs at the time of booking and no later than the Wednesday before the event.

We operate a policy of Check, Clean, Dry to prevent the spread of invasive species so please hose down your boats and trolleys before and after use. Hand in all invertebrates to the galley.

Order lunch at the galley before 10:00. After last year's run on the rat and 'chocolate raisin' fritters we have upgraded to roadkill surprise.

During lunch, please allow sailors to be fed as a priority and just watch their little faces as they finally identify the species..
