Pasty and Pint Race Officer Training

The 'Pasty and Pint' race officer training that unfortunately had to be postponed earlier this year has been rescheduled.

If you would like to understand the role of the Race Officer and how to run racing at the club or would just like to know a bit more about the flags and sound signals we have just the thing for you.

We are running a training course over two Friday evenings on 15th and 22nd April.   The cost of the course is just £10 which includes for your pastie and pint for both evenings smiley. The course will have a less formal, more sociable approach, hence the pastie and pint!

The evenings kick off at 7pm and finish around 9pm and Pasties will be available from 6.30pm.

After the two evenings you will have enough information to enable you to run club races.

No previous experience is required.

Your instructor will be Paul Kimmens who is a qualified RYA Regional Race Officer and National Mark Layer.

To book a place, and more importantly ensure that there is a pastie in the oven for you, please register (go to the training tab on the  web site, click on course dates and then click on 'find out more' for the Club Race Officer Course). If you have any questions then please call or email Paul on 07867 823924, pkdj@sky.com
