Have you seen these men?

The sailing committee have issued the above photo of three men last seen sailing away at the Solo Open meeting.  They are a notorious group from South Cerney Sailing Club renowned for picking up silverware and glassware.  Despite a chasing pack of 19 boats who tried to catch them they got clean away.

The three are known for their meticulous planning and implementation and we fully expect that they will be back next week to do the same again........ you have been warned.... approach with care, especially if on port tack!

Congratulations to Guy Lonsdale (2nd),  Andy Miles (1st),  and Phil Milanes(3rd) who swept the board at the Solo Open meeting at the club on Saturday. Some outstanding sailing in light and shifty conditions. A good turn out of 22 boats including 6 visitors.

Also a mention for the race officer, Andrew Appleton, who set some good courses despite the light shifty wind.

All in all a great event, especially Pam Weeks bacon butties 1st thing in the morning :-)
