South Cerney Sailing Club has acquired a Gull Spirit sailing dinghy, which is a bit like a mini-wayfarer and, apparently, was a favoured boat by the dinghy sailing expert Margaret Dye (Gull Sprint article) .

At the moment it needs a small amount of work and Gary M has kindly leaned-in to bring her up to spec. Once ready, this boat will be available to members both as a cruising dinghy around the Lake, and also as a great confidence building dinghy for those with a RYA qualification or some experience but who want to build hours and experience in a more stable dinghy rather than climbing straight onto a Laser or suchlike.

If you'd like to know more, please get in touch: vice-commodore@scsailing.org,uk.
